hi gang!

well…

last friday’s show at Cafe Mundi went surprisingly well in spite of my ‘cold’. thanks to the ‘cold’, my muppet voice factor was at an all time high. i was at a high Kermit level, bordering on near-Elmo frequency.

and for some reason, i decided to call the audience members ‘a bunch of sacks of shit’. that’s quite odd because they were applauding me prior to my remark.

i wonder if the combination of nyquil, lone star, brown trucker speed, unfiltered lucky strikes, ristratto espresso, mini-thins, stacker-2s, junior mints, nicorette gum and yohimbe could have had anything to do with my aggressive behavior.

i listened to the first round of mixes from the talented Alex Keller last weekend and he’s already done what is damn near impossible to do when you use a bass guitar as a lead instrument: hear the other instruments.

second round of mixes to come soon, then mastering, then the lovely liz daggar will do the artwork, then the lovely paul horsely will provide some money for manufacturing.

then, like busstop style, it will be the best album ever.
